While not completely appropriate to this group, here is a question that someone out in info-vax land might be able to answer. We have an Emulex CS-11 with the ROMs that make it think it is a DV-11. The board is plugged into a PDP-11/84 running RSX and DECNET and will act as a router between the local DECNET (ethernet based) and remote (mostly over phone lines) sites. DEC is saying that the software is fine, and that the Emulex board is at fault. Emulex says that their board is fine and that there is probably something wrong with the configuration or something. The system recognizes that the board is there, but nothing more. The RSX-Ethernet side works just fine, so the majority of the software is running correctly. Has anyone used the Emulex CS-11 as a DV-11 for this kind of application? Has anyone used the Emulex CS-11 as a DV-11 for any application? ---------------- Marty Sasaki uucp: harvard!sasaki Strategic Information arpa: sasaki@harvard.harvard.edu 80 Blanchard Road bitnet: sasaki@harvunxh Burlington, MA 01803 phone: 617-273-5500
