Is it possible to have standalone backup use .COM files? If so where would one put the file? What I want to do is have our backup procedure create a file for our operators to execute when the system comes up stand-alone. I think you have more important things to think about right now! But Tom and I don't think you can since there are no disks or directories when you boot standalone. I would think that you might be able to create a version with BACKUP installed where the defaults are the proper responses to the BACKUP. or buy a Cluster Console..... Jan
