Is there a MACSYMA in the public domain? A VMS version is preferable, but UNIX will serve. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Aram

Does anyone know of any symbolic manipulation programs besides
SMP from Inference Corp. or MACSYMA from Symbolics for a VAX
running VMS?

The DOE version is quasi-public domain but as I understand
it, it is very expensive.....I thought someone mentioned several
hundred dollars....
