Can anybody tell me how to change my default directory from within a FORTRAN program? I have not been able to find a LIB$ or SYS$ call to do it. Please send replies directly to me, as I do not receive Info-VAX directly. I will forward anything that works to Info-VAX. Thanks, Malcolm Petcher

You didn't say which version of VMS your running, but it doesn't matter. The call you want is SYS$SETDDIR. This is described in the system service manual as of V4.4, otherwise it is in the RMS manual. Ray -------
