Hi,
I was poking through module $OPCDEF in STARLET.MLB awhile back, looking for
some symbol definitions that I needed to use the SYS$SNDOPR routine, when I
found symbols corresponding to some operator classes that are NOT
documented elsewhere (DCL dictionary, for example):
REPLY
SOFTWARE
FILES_11.
Sure enough, REPLY/ENABLE=SOFTWARE worked! I was wondering whether anyone
else had noticed these, and if so, what are they for??? NETWORK has the
obvious meaning that this class will receive status messages about network
stuff. It happens that DECnet sends status messages to NETWORK operators;
does VMS send anything to SOFTWARE, REPLY or FILES_11???
