Subject: Problem in Vax C 2.2 Optimizer Newsgroups: mod.computers.vax I recently spent several frustrating days chasing down a problem which appears to be due to a bug in the optimizer in Vax C 2.2. I still don't know exactly what the problem is but it went away by compiling with /NOOPT. Since the code I was working with is so large and requires special hardware to run, I doubt DEC will be able to use my code to find the problem.
