Does anyone have a copy of OBSERVE that works with LAT terminals ? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated !

From what I remember of the info on the decus tapes... Observe will NOT work if you are on a RTA terminal (decnet), or the person you are watching is. If you BOTH are, it will crash the system. It doesn't work on Lat ports, but no warning about crashing.

Well, I tried OBSERVE and the system _did_ fall over ..... I'm not blaming
OBSERVE, mind you - it _might_ have been a coincidence! However, I find the
following sequence quite useful when watching for hackers :-
$ Analyse /System
Set Proc /Index=<index of suspect process>
Examine h3510:h390f
$
