In case anybody's interested, there is now an on-line copy of the 1978 version of DEC's "Files-11 On-Disk Structure" in the file CITHEX::SYS$DOC:ODS-2.DOC. The document describes the Files-11, Structure Level 2, Version 1 filesystem, as well as the format used (in 1978, anyway) by RMS for its various file organizations and record formats. If anybody out there can tell me how the current versions of Files-11 and RMS differ from their 1978 counterparts, I'll be glad to update the documentation.
