I have an investigator that needs to talk to people that are actively using DEC's VAXlab hardware/software offering. (VAXlab is a Q-bus module that has D-A and A-D and clock with VMS software library to access the devices) DEC was very willing to give us a sales demo, but either unable or unwilling to give us names of people who have actually bought the beast. We are interested in determing the actual data acquisition capability in a real situation, as opposed to just reading the spec sheets. We also need some idea as to how much effort is involved in learning how to make it do useful work.
