The DEC LN03 has a standard serial (V24/RS-232) interface, and can therefore
be driven in exactly the same way as any normal serial device (e.g. LA-120,
VT-100, etc). The fact that your files are straight ASCII instead of
package-generated files is of no significance. Regarding TeX, there
is a program available from Flavio Rose (via Kellerman and Smith, if you
have no address for Flavio Rose) which converts TeX DVI output to
LN03-format. ** Phil.

There have been several articles in past months addressing just this problem. One was in HARDCOPY in May 1986, and a set of command files that was available from Bob Cunningham at Hawaii Institute of Geophysics. I received both of these and applied a few tricks of my own to build a quick a nd easy user interface to print in portrait or landscape and give the user a choice between 4 fonts (Courier, Elite and two Hebrew fonts). These are available for the asking direct to me. Ben Pashkoff BEN@TECHMAX.BITNET Systems engineer Biomedical Engineering technion, IIT Haifa
