Is there any provision for sequencing of INFO-VAX messages? I find it very annoying to receive answers to questions days before I receive the question. Why do I often receive multiple copies of some messages? Why do some messages come with the Reply-To field specifying the originator and some specifying <INFO-VAX@SRI-KL.ARPA>?

I often had the same problem when I was receiving mailing lists on a Bitnet only machine - I have an idea that it may be a problem related to the Bitnet/Arpa gateway at wiscvm; on the arpanet I have no problems with sequencing. I have no solution, but I am interested if anyone can explain this problem. -Ike.

I am having the same problem receiving info-vax mail on an ARPANET machine, though I have not noticed whether or not the problem occurs only with messages that originated on BITNET.
