[mod.computers.vax] VAX system monitoring benchmark information.

Hello,
I am currently working on a VAX780 system that is overloaded.
I have been working with the VAX/VMS "MONITOR" command to attempt to
establish exactly what applications are causing the greatest load on
the system and what form that load takes (I/O, CPU time, etc.). My
problem is that although these utilities provide a great deal of
useful information about what the present state of the system is...I
have no standards against which to compare. Could anyone point to the
correct manual or text which deals with the optimum conditions for the
VAX780.
                                          Thank you,
                                        Stephen Kent Jones
