Hi All, I really did not expect the volume of responses that I received regarding DEC's problems with All-In-One and support of printers. It seems that many, many people are frustrated with both software and hardware, and feel that DEC is not "in tune" with the real needs of those people trying to implement Office Automation and that DEC does not, and seems unconcerned with the fact that these "low-end" problems are of immediate concern. Everyone that has responded to my initial plea for help has said the same: "DEC has some problems in this regard, and let me tell you how we have circumvented them by going to third-party vendors" or "tell me how you solve this problem, we have the same one, too". We are going to the next DECUS meeting in Nashville. I have never been to one before, but the people that I work with tell me that these ad-hoc issues can be addresed through the "birds of a feather" sessions. I would like to invite anyone concerned with Office Automation and these problems to contact us so that we may coordinate this session. You may contact me via BITNET at EBIBISI@UTMEM1 or by ATT at (901)528-5848. Regards, Ed Bibisi Manager, Data Communicatios/Networking University of Tennesse Memphis 38163
