I am aware of the following 3 problems which keep the VMS 4.5 symbiont from
correctly accounting for the pages actually printed:
(a) a file printed with /PASSALL qualifier is counted as 1 page independent
of its contents.
(b) when printing /NOFEED (either due to queue default or to /NOFEED print
qualifier), the symbiont considers any formfeed-delimited section of
the file printed a page, independent of its size.
(c) due to an obscure JOBCTL bug, the first file printed after the command
sequence
$ stop/que/next ...
$ start/queue ...
gets accounted for the pages printed by the previous job in addition to
its own pages.
[I SPR'ed this problem only recently, so it will stay with us for a while ..
If you know about other problems, I will be glad to summarize them to net.
