Since I cannot send Lars Palmer a reply through PSI I hope he sees this, and it helps him out. This information is in the DEC manual "Network Communication -- VAX PSI", if you can find a copy it will give you a little more detail on PSI MAIL than these commands that I'm giving you. To set up PSI communications devices put these NCP commands in your confignet.com file; DEFINE OBJECT psi_mail NUMBER 0 - FILE sys$system:psi_mail.com - USER user-name - PASSWORD password DEFINE MODULE X25-SERVER DESTINATION psi_mail - OBJECT psi_mail - CALL MASK FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF - CALL VALUE FF00000056332E30204D41494C2D3131 Copy the CALL MASK (32 f's) and CALL VALUE exactly , they call some program or commands from the bowels of the operating system. With these installed PSI should allow incoming mail to be recieved. Ann P.S. Thanks for your MASS11 input Ann Beckman... inter/arpa: beckman%ssl.span@128.8.250.4 bitnet: beckman%ssl.span@star.standford.edu psdn: psi%3110321001600::beckman End of returned message
