Since I cannot send Lars Palmer a reply through PSI I hope
he sees this, and it helps him out.
This information is in the DEC manual "Network
Communication -- VAX PSI", if you can find a copy it will
give you a little more detail on PSI MAIL than these commands
that I'm giving you.
To set up PSI communications devices put these NCP commands
in your confignet.com file;
DEFINE OBJECT psi_mail NUMBER 0 -
FILE sys$system:psi_mail.com -
USER user-name -
PASSWORD password
DEFINE MODULE X25-SERVER DESTINATION psi_mail -
OBJECT psi_mail -
CALL MASK FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF -
CALL VALUE FF00000056332E30204D41494C2D3131
Copy the CALL MASK (32 f's) and CALL VALUE exactly , they call
some program or commands from the bowels of the operating system.
With these installed PSI should allow incoming mail to be recieved.

P.S. Thanks for your MASS11 input
