Does anyone know how to determine what server and port you are on from an unpriveleged account? I want be able to put some code into SYLOGIN.COM that will be able to tell which terminal server that the process is on. The reason I want to do this, is that I want to be able to set up some logicals depending apon the physical location of the terminal that the person logs into. With DZ's or DMF's it's no problem because the device name is always the same. With the terminal servers the device name is LT... which doesn't say anything. Using LACP a priveleged person can find out which server and port a process is logged on, but I can't figure out any easy way to do it for anyone who logs in. One solution would be to write a program and install it with privelege, but I am hoping someone has a simpler solution. Of course, if someone has already written the code and is willing to send it to me, I would consider that a simple solution. . .
