A few days ago someone put out a query about an interface to go between the Qbus and the VME bus. Someone here at our site is running a parallel-processing application (using a MicroVAX to control downloading of code and data to a large number of specially-designed boards with 68020's on them). I asked him for information - here is what he is using: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ From: ATLAS::DBAILEY "David Bailey" 27-MAR-1987 16:32 To: ATLAS::SYSRUTH Subj: RE: do you have any info. he could use? Ruth, The ACP system has exactly such an interface. It is called a QVI and was designed by Hari Areti and others at Fermilab (P.O. Box 500, Batavia, Illinois 60510, USA). It is available for about US$1000 (two cards: one for VME bus, one for Q-Bus) from Omnibyte Corp., 245 West Roosevelt Road, West Chicago, Illinois 60185, USA; telephone: (312)231-6880.
