We have a system that has 4... soon to be 8 LAT terminal servers connected
to it... Some of our developers are writing code that will allocate LAT
terminals as needed...

One of them asked me a rather simple question... and I have no idea what the
answer is...

When a LAT session is started, a counter is bumped and that is used as part
of the terminal identifier.

e.g. User XYZ logs in as LTA555,
the next User logs in and it is LTA556... etc...

Does this counter ever roll over (i.e. LTA1 follows LTA999, or LTA1 follows
LTA9999) ? I realize it resets if the vax is shutdown and restarted,
but that seems a little drastic to clear a counter.

Thanks in advance...
