We have a 785, with floating point, that is not translating logical names properly. It seems to only happen when the Floating Point accelerator boards are in. I know, I know, replace the boards. Field Service has, 3 times in the last week. It just seems to happen (I guess not happen would be more accurate) when attempting to access logicals from a subprocess of an ALL-IN-1 (the office automation software from DEC) session. All-In-1 provides a means, which we use, to have access to logical names but VMS is ignoring it. Has anyone seen this kind of behaviour before? Jim Anderson TRW janderson@hqafsc-vax.arpa ------
