Pleasant@RED.RUTGERS.EDU (Mel) (10/21/85)

Hello,

Welcome to the ProtocolS mail distribution list. This list is
designed to promote discussion of the various existing file transfer
protocols. In the past, this list concentrated on protocols
specifically desgined for async lines. We have since broadened our
horizons as the technology has changed. Please feel free to discuss any
aspect of protocol design on this distribution list.

A complete record of the ProtocolS discussions is maintained in the
list's archives. The current archives are divided into 4 files
covering the dates shown.
