We are about to install a Seagate gateway at DCIEM. Since we have an old M68K box with a forward technology processor board we thought we'd be in pretty good shape. It turns out however that the ethernet controller at our disposal is an Interlan NI3010 not the NI3210 for which the gateway il driver is provided. If anyone can provide us with a driver for the NI3010 we'd be happy to hear about it. Conversely, if we don't get a response we may have a driver in the next couple of weeks if anyone wants it. The Seagate dist'n references an earlier version (john Seamons) Has anyone brought that version up to standard. We'd like to take our macs home and still access efs and or mat over the phone (albeit slowly). We live in an environment where we have three UNIX V7 systems on the ethernet along with 4.2 systems. We will port efsd and matd to the V7 (using 3-com UNET and our own UDP driver). Once again if anyone is interested in the results please let us know. Doug Ross Andyne Computing utzoo!dciem!djr
