[mod.protocols.appletalk] 'Moderated' archives available

Ralph.Hyre@C.CS.CMU.EDU (Ralph W. Hyre Jr.) (12/07/85)

Due to disk space limitations, I have gone through the archives and
'moderated' them, eliminating inappropriate and obsolete entries that
were archived when info-applebus was a mail reflector.

The result is that the archive file cmu-cs-c:ps:<applebus>mail.txt is nearly
half the size it was (46 page rather than 82), and it should also contain
more useful information than it did in the past.

Eventually I will be categorizing the archives by topic, so that
Seagate information is in the file seagate-archive.txt and MacIP
information is in the file MacIP-archive.txt, and anything not
categorized will simply go in misc-archive.txt. There will also be
a README file which will explain all of this.

Once I get more disk space I can bring back the 'old' archives from magtape
if there is any demand for it.
