[mod.protocols.appletalk] SUMacC on a Sun 3/160 ?

doug%noah.arc.cdn%ubc.CSNET@CSNET-RELAY.ARPA.UUCP (07/15/86)

Do any of you fine folks out there doing Seagate stuff do your hacking
on a Sun 3? Using SUMacC?

We have version 2 of SUMacC, and the only UNIX machines available are
not Vaxes. Given that the Sun and Mac processors are relatives, is it possible
to make SUMacC work with 'as' and 'ld'? Are there undocumented switches that
generate vanilla 68000 code?

Thanks,

There was a Sun port of Sumacc done at Brown University by Dave Johnson.
