[mod.protocols.appletalk] CAP Prerelase D2, patch file 3

cck%cucca@columbia.edu.UUCP (08/01/86)

I'll start off by thank Paul Milazzo at Rice Univ. for noticing a
"side-effect" of the modified GW code (as per second distribution).
The original efs code doesn't fill in the lap header (I don't remember
if it fills in the ddp header). Unfortunately, the GW code now uses
the header information in appletalk packets coming in from the
ethernet. This means that the combination of the old efs code and the
modified GW code will not work together (unless the old efs appletalk
library is modified).

cap.pat3 (in cu20b::us:[us.cck.cap.d2]cap.pat3) contains three things:
ab.h.diff - this is part of the gw code and I forgot that I had
modified this. Thanks to Paul Milazzo for noticing this.
	abnet.c.patch, abnet.c.log - abnet now uses FD_SET, etc. macros
from sys/types.h to manage the fd sets for select.
efsd.c, efsd.mak - updated copy of the cap library version of
Dan Tappan's modified EFSD, incorporating the modifications
		as of July 29.
