[mod.protocols.tcp-ip] Bridge CS/100 and 4.2BSD

tcp-ip@ucbvax.UUCP (12/23/85)

We are considering a Bridge CS/100 TCP/IP terminal server as
an alternative for a regular Sun line multiplexer. It seems
fine for terminals but what about lines attached to printers
and dial-out modems?

Is it possible to configure a 4.2bsd printer spooler and uucp
so that the device (printer or auto-caller) is attached to CS/100?
Generally, can the computer make a CS/100 line look like
an ordinary (pseudo) terminal device?
