It's been a while since the last message about this, so I thought I'd bring it back up. Last we heard, John posted his proposed standard using a new field in 802.2 called the SNAP. Does anyone know if anything has happened towards getting official numbers for this yet? I see more and more tokenring's being deployed with various bogus schemes while this issue remains unresolved.
