To build a solid foundation for on-going discussions, I would like
to compile descriptions of any implementations of UNIX* which support
codesets/character sets other than (or in addition to) US-ASCII.
I know of several but I am sure there are many more that I have not
heard of.
In fact, it need not be a UNIX system. If you know of a particularly
good system, send it in. Please send me:
- a short description of the system
- a contact person or at least the name of the company/
university that did the development
I will compile the list, add any knowledge I have, and re-distribute
to the net.
