*** ILLUMINATE THIS LINE WITH YOUR HEADLIGHTS ***

I have a four rectangular headlight arrangement. The local auto parts store
has Hella headlights on sale for 17.95. Mail order prices for Cibie's are
about the same. Any opinion on the merits of one brand or the other ?

(Please direct all "I hate all halogen headlights because ..." responses
to net.fluoridation.)

I noted that there was a halogen controversy a while back
please note difference between Halogen and non Halogen brightness
occurs after use. Non-halogen lights appearnot to be brighter because
they wear out almost immediately; the filament plates the back of the
lense much like vapor deposition. The halogen replacement lights, replace
the filament material back on the filament therefore keeping them clean
on the inside and making them appear to be as bright as new (much more so
than average headlight) throughout their life.
