I was wondering if anyone out there knows of any good technical manuals on lubricants. I have a few rules of thumb but would like to know what types of goo are good for various applications. The applications are combinations of high and low temperature, high pressure, exposure to water, air, etc. These are general household and automotive needs. i. e. Do I use lithium or molybedarnedifIknowhowtospellium grease on my sparkplugs. If someone has a good reference, please post its author/title. I'm sure other folks would like to know about it. Thanks.
