Really like my 1 year old Honda Accord LX Hatchback, 5 speed. The problem : On cold mornings (less then freezing) the car bucks due to a slipping clutch. The colder it is, the worse it is. I go easy on it until the car warms up and this doesn't happen anymore. The dealer said it needed a clutch adjustment which I agreed to. (Also had a transmission oil change). This helped, but the problem was back in a week, and is as noticeable as it ever was. This is not an earth shattering problem, but I'd like to understand it better. Still got 5000 miles left on the drive train if it turns out to be a real problem. Questions : Is there less coefficient of friction at lower temperatures ? (I thought the opposite is true). Could there be freezing moisture forming on the clutch plate overnight ? Any comments or suggestions ? Appreciate it. Thanks, Larry O. AT&T Info. Systems, Denver, CO.
