I have an old Vega and it goes without saying she leaks oil. It has never been enough to justify the expense of new seals, it doesn't even leak enough to dirty the driveway. But it is still a pain in the behind. There are a couple of crankcase sealants on the market. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about them. Will they damage a light weight four? Do they work? Anyone have any information on these products? As an interesting side note, my car does not leak oil until the oil gets dirty. After an oil change it does not leak. The leak rate slowly increases until the next oil change. Has anyone else noticed this behavior? I am at a total loss to explain it. Richard Piner piner@pur-phy.UUCP
