I just installed grose-jets in my dual stromberg carbs. It has made quite a difference in the way he car starts and runs. The Grose-jet is a dual ball bearing replacement for the needle valve found in most carbs. the fuel shutoff is much more positive with this installed. I noticed a difference the moment I switched the ignition, the electric fuel pump whirred and stayed on very fast until the fuel bowl filled. The pump then shut off suddenly as the valve closed. Usually the pump slows down and stops. There is now no more flooding in the corners, or under acceleration/braking For any of you brit car owners out there I would recommend this modification. especially if the car cuts out in corners.
