Someone said that "2 DIP sockets won't hold any 200KB operating system." Well, you can get 128KB in two sockets now, using 27512 EPROMs, and mask-programmed ROMs may be available in twice that density. So, maybe, by the time Jack T puts his OS in ROM (if ever, if we want it, etc), the technology will be there. mike k PS: You can always plug in a daughter board with 4 chips. PPS: Maybe the OS kernel will be boiled down to 128K.
