[net.micro.amiga] Amiga 1070, 1080 vs Sony KV1311-CR Monitors

There has been a lot of discussion on the net about the Commodore
1070 and 1080 monitors vs the Sony KV1311-CR but:

Does anyone have information on how to connect a Sony Monitor
to an Amiga ?. Our local Amiga dealer says his Rep handles both
the Sony Monitor and the Amiga Computer / Monitor and that as of
now there are no cables available except from Commodore - and you
presumably have to buy the monitor to get them.

Has anyone actually attempted to make up their own cables ? If so
can they post the information.
