There's been a lot of mail over this, so here, for the record, are the official Commodore Suggested Retail Prices for the manuals and software development tools, effective November 1, 1985: AmigDOS User's Manual $14.95 Describes the editors and other CLI commands that come with every Amiga. Describes the CLI (Command Line Interface). Amiga Technical Documentation $99.95 A complete set of manuals for the Amiga computer. Includes: 1) AmigaDOS User's Manual 2) AmigaDOS Developer's Manual 3) AmigaDOS Technical Reference Manual 4) Amiga Hardware Manual 5) Amiga ROM Kernel Manual 6) Intution: The Amiga User Interface The first few sets of these will go out with a Mail-in card instead of the ROM Kernel Manual. Mail in the card and Commodore will send you the V1.1 ROM Kernel Manual when it pops off the presses later this month. Amiga Assembler $99.95 Motorola 68000 syntax macro-assembler for Amiga software development. Includes linker (with overlay support), libraries and "include" source files providing immediate access to Amiga firmware routines. Also includes AmigaDOS Developer's Manual. Lattice "C" for Amiga $149.95 68000 "C" language compiler for Amiga software development. Includes linker (with overlay support), libraries and "include" source files providing immediate access to Amiga firmware routines. IBM PC(TM) Cross-Development Package $99.95 Contains the Lattice "C" cross-compiler, the Amiga Cross-assembler and linker, and include source files for C and assembler, as well as cross development notes. This package is designed to be used WITH the Amiga Assembler and Lattice C packages. ---------------- All of the above should be at your local Amiga dealers this month. Commodore also sells a Pascal and a Lisp for the Amiga which are also shipping to dealers now. The Wack debugger should be available in December.
