I would like to hear the pro's and con's of using various diskettes (3.5") for the AMIGA. I am using (Sony and Maxell SS,DD) diskettes and they seem to work fine. Why pay more for (DD,DD) disks when the SS's work? The developers kit is $450, not $400 as mentioned (I talked with the PA people on the phone yesterday) Is anyone using the 68K cross-development system? We have a system V box (Cyb) and would be interested in hearing how other people are writing code for the AMIGA. Anyone out there working on porting the Macintosh Rom interface to the AMIGA. Wouldn't it be great to also have a Macintosh emulation mode on the AMIGA. Gee, I could use my mac programs on the AMIGA? Yes, you wouldn't have to use the vaporware out there now! orion!reha

I sure wouldn't save anything of any importance on that disk! Matt UUCP: ...ihnp4!inuxc!verner "The whole point of this sentence is to clearly explain the point this sentence is making."

Re to those who'd like to port the Macintosh ROM to an Amiga- likely, it's very possible- considering you have virtually a subset of the Macintosh hardwarewise (as far as I know) in the Amiga. Legally- I don't think Apple would be too happy with the prospect. -- #/ / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / #D.
