I have a question to Dave Lucas at Amiga, or anyone else who works there. In the Speech/gadget code displaying the "Mouth", a certain function was used in the source code. It was: NewList(&read_port.mp_MsgList); I have looked around for an explanation of that function but hace come up empty handed. Would anyone who knows what this function does, or where in the documentation it is explained, please mail me at the net address listed below?? On several occasions, the listings that were posted on the Net had lines that were so long that I wasn't able to re-create it. For those posting source code, try to keep your lines shorter than 79 characters. I realize that it's probably the fault of my terminal program, but no doubt, others may also have that problem. If the nets ever decide to have a net.sources.amiga, lets try and keep the postings "Source code only". I also have been noticing a lot of flame about whether to have net.sources.amiga or not. Does it take valuable net resources to install a net.sources.amiga? Or are people just flaming about the extra net traffic it would generate. I think it's an Honor to have Amiga on the net. I don't understand why all the flame about Amiga using the net for commercial purposes. In my interpretation of their presence, I think they are really doing a good service to the net. I hope that others feel the same way. You can net-mail your comments to me thru: ihnp4!ptsfa!well!crunch Thanx in advance: John Draper
