Seems like I posted this question once before, and never got an answer. How do you associate a C program, such as the recently posted "balls" program, or the "gfxmem" program, to an icon so it can be activated from the workbench. Once done, how do you edit the icon, or any other icon in the system for that matter. Most of my effort on the amiga so far has been targeted towards taming the CLI environment (cc frontend, make, etc) rather than the windowing stuff. So maybe the answer is buried in one of my manuals. Guess I'll take next week off and read them :-). -Fred

I may be wrong (probably am), but I believe you create a ".info" file for the program, file, directory, etc. This appears to contain, among other things, the bit image of the icon.
