From: Bruce Tanner <CERRITOS@USC-ECL.ARPA> A salesman at a local store selling Amigas told me that newer Amigas will have AmigaDOS support in ROM, but that the existing RAM used by the kick start disk will be freed for user RAM. Has the RAM/ROM issue been decided? If so, what was the outcome, and when will it happen? -Bruce -------

Sorry, If and when we go to ROM the 256k of Kickstart RAM will go. I suspect that this issue is still undecided. The software poeple just love the flexability, the accountants and hardware people dislike the expense. --Bruce.
