From: "ROBERTS, JOHN" <roberts@nbs-vms.ARPA> After my last posting on this topic, several people told me that at least part of net.sources ("net.sources, net.sources.bugs and net.sources.games") is gated to the ARPANET mailing list UNIX-SOURCES. I am admittedly ignorant of the hierarchical structure (if any) of net.sources. I sent a request for information to the moderator of UNIX-SOURCES about 2 weeks ago and have received no reply, but I feel it is unlikely that he would be willing to gate the proposed list net.sources.amiga to a list supposedly of interest to users of UNIX systems so we could read it. It seems even more unlikely that we would be able to post anything to net.sources.amiga, with the current net configuration. My personal opinion is that the current gated mailing list INFO-AMIGA/net.micro.amiga works very well, and that it would take a lot of work to set up a second list with similar performance. If another list is established, please make an effort to see that it is gated to ARPANET. Further enlightenment appreciated.
