[net.micro.amiga] Attn Developers! Other Amiga magazines: Attn: Perry K.

If you are looking for low cost ad space for Amiga magazines, check out
Amazing Computing, a new magazine for the Amiga, destined to hit the shelves
in January.

It is published by PIM Publications, P.O. Box 869, Fall River, Massachusetts,
02722. Call (617) 679-3109, and ask for Don Hicks. Say you saw a notice
on Usenet... He's offering low rates for the first few issues, to the tune
of $40 a 1/9 page, or $200 for a whole page.

He's got orders for over 1,000 units so far, and his first mailing went
out just a week or so ago. Deadline for the first monthly issue is
the 22nd of December or so, so you better hurry up.

He sent out letters to over 600 dealers, and he's also looking for more
distributors. Subscriptions are available, and dealers can take issues
on consignment.

He's also looking for writers. You can reach Don on CompuServe.

I gave him Eric Lavitsky's name, since I knew he had a product out for
the Amiga.

Please note that Eric Lavitsky has been using other people's disks to develop
his software. Former netlandian, John Foust, a co-worker of mine, sent
Eric some disks over two months ago, and he hasn't seen them since, even
though John called him three times, long distance.
