From: "Neville D. Newman" <NEVILLE%umass-cs.csnet@CSNET-RELAY.ARPA> i am in dire need of a Kermit implementation to run on my Stride, which is a 68000 machine. i currently run CP/M-68K but that should be of little consequence in light of other hurdles. i have access to the UNIX Kermit, but it forks separate reader and writer processes, and we have found it to be unreliable. i am hoping to find something that will require less re-writing on my part than porting the UNIX Kermit. i'll even gladly strip out specialized window I/O code. What i need, then is: C, Pascal, or 68K-assembly code to a working Kermit or one with the bugs documented. It need not have any terminal-emulation code, or even modem-dialing code thought the latter would be nice. i'll worry about modem command-set compatibility as needed. Hopefully some of you AMIGA folks are using Kermit for BBS transfers. Please reply directly to me at ARPAnet neville.UMass@CSnet-relay CSnet neville@UMass UUCP you tell me, i'd love to know! i will summarize/review to this list if the search is fruitful. Thanks.
