[net.micro.amiga] More on MicroEMACS

george@osu-eddie.UUCP (George Jones) (12/20/85)

Judging from the responce I have had it seems people appriciate the
MicroEMACS (Thanks Dave Conroy Et Cetera).

I have recieved numerious requests to post repost the soruces to info-amiga.
I will do so shortly (this time using shar). There have also been numerous
requests to make it available on arpa...Louise Mamakos has volunteered to
make it available for FTPing.

This version however appears to be of limited life...as it turns out,
David Conroy, the original author of MicroEmacs is on the net and has
offered to supply me with the most recient sources...rather than hack
to long and hard on this one I suggest people wait until Dave or I or
someone else posts the latest version. At that point if (if he says !)
people are interested in making enhancemnets to ME I suggest we work
through a co-ordinator to improve/customize/Amigaize it. Idealy that
person would be the original author, however if that dosn't work out I
am willing to fill that role.

What follows is a list of ME's commands...a clasic case of "it works,
we'll get the documentation done later". Anyhow, here it is. Please
repost it, forward it, to anyone who has ME.
