*** I recently purchased an Amiga and have been waiting for some real software to run on it. I also have been saving the posted C programs that I have received from this group in anticipation of purchasing a C compiler when one was available. Well, I have now found a local store that actually has copies of the Lattice C compiler and I have several questions that the sales people in the store could not (would not? :-) answer. 1. Just what is included in the package? The packaging for the compiler was just a white cover with no description of what was inside. Are there libraries of functions for graphics, color control, sound creation, etc.? What libraries are included? 2. What are some of the experiences of users with the package? Is it complete? Is it buggy? Does it produce good code? How efficient is it in compiling C source? 3. What hardware (if any) is required above the basic system to use the compiler? What hardware (disks, memory, etc.) improve the performance of the compiler? 4. Is $150 for the compiler a good price, or should I keep looking? Still waiting for documentation, -- ------------------------- decvax!{cca!emacs, wanginst}!infinet!barnes Jim Barnes
