I am now thinking about my next tutorial, and was thinking of doing
one on the IFF Format. I just got the routines for reading and writing
IFF Formatted files. I spent the day visiting various Guru's from
Los Gatos including a trip to Clowd 9 to visit the Woz. One stop was
Electronic Arts to re-assure myself that they were committed to developing
a standard for music and graphics. I found out that the music format
isn't as developed as I would have liked it to be. Then after Woz,
I dropped by Amiga in Los Gatos and visited them. The Amiga folks
well be reviewing my future tutorials for accuracy and code style from
now on.
I want to do the sound tutorial next, but feel it appropriate to
do a small tutorial on I/O and multi-tasking before covering the Music
section because knowledge about the I/O is necessary. I could do the
Music as an example of I/O programs.
The new ROM Kernal manual soon to be released will have a more
comprehensive section on sound and music. Two example programs are
included. I also got a diskette with some new stuff, but forgot to
ask Amiga folks If I can give it out. I think they plan on releasing
some more stuff to the nets soon.
So, I guess I will toss it up for discussion, It would be:
1. IFF tutorial and reading dpaint files.
2. I/O, Multi-tasking, and Sound.
At this time, I have enough material to do either of these tutorials.

I will compile your votes and post the results later. In the
meantime, got lots of reading to do. Hope you enjoyed the
Menu/requester/Gadget tutorial, and any comments and suggestions
would be appreciated. I will eventually do BOTH, but thich one
I do FIRST is up to you.
