for the last three months, i've had my amiga in my noisy office.
i've seen a tendency for the 1080 monitor to badly flicker
periodically -- it only lasts a second, like a "visible bell",
and happens at ~4-5 minute intervals. i had it pegged as just
a slight flakiness in the software, and ignored it.
over the holidays i took it home again and noticed that the
flickers are accompanied by a snapping sound like a spark discharge.
the technician at my dealer thinks he's noticed a similar effect
on one of the store's display models. anyone else seen this?

Mine has done it a few times. Not frequently -- probably once in ten hours of uptime. -Danny -- -- CAUTION: WET FLOOR <== Is this a warning or a command? -- Danny Sharpe School of ICS Georgia Insitute of Technology, Atlanta Georgia, 30332 ...!{akgua,allegra,amd,hplabs,ihnp4,seismo,ut-ngp}!gatech!gitpyr!dts
