From: "french robert%d.mfenet"@LLL-MFE.ARPA Buried in my closet somewhere, I have about 4 extra 5.25" 80-track double sided disk drives left over from my TRS-80 Model 4. They are Shugart SA460s. Of course, they contain power supplies, and use a "standard" interface. My question is: Can I hook one (or more) of these up to the Amiga (I'm willing to build any cable or circuit necessary), or does the Amiga use some kind of really strange 5.25" drive (which I doubt)? If I can do this, could I fool the Amiga into thinking it was another 3.25" drive? I really don't feel like buying more of what I already have. Also, on a different note, is it possible to use a 68010 in place of the Amiga's 68000, and if so, how much of a speed increase would I get? Would anything be rendered unusable by this switch? Please E-Mail responses; I will repost a summary. English: Robert S.
