There seems to be alot of anxiety about putting the 520ST into the Mass market. At first it looks like Atari is pulling the rug out from under its dealers. This is simply not true. You see Atari IS NOT LOWERING THE PRICE OF THE ST, but is simply selling it unbundeled. Actually if you bought the Total system from a mass marketer you would not save a single penny. Actually this move by Atari is good news for dealers, because there will be even a bigger base to sell monitors, drives, software, etc.. Also Atari dealers will soon be selling Personal Mini-Computers in the near future, which will have a better profit margin for its dealers.
