I have posted the public domain examples for IFF file handling
to net.sources. I acquired these through a local computer store,
and they provide a nice look into the structure of an IFF file.
I talked to EA and Amiga, and they told me that the documentation
which supports the IFF format will be included in the version 1.1
ROM Kernal Manual. In the meantime, I can provide copies of the IFF
document from EA if you REALLY can't wait. Send me a stamped, self-
addressed 9 X 12 manila envelope with 75 cents postage, and $3.00
to cover copying expenses, and I'll send you a copy. Please don't
send the stuff if you don't REALLY need this documentation NOW, as
this is a big pain in the rear for me, but one I'm willing to take
on if necessary.
A note: there is an include file, "graphics/system.h", in
at least one of the programs. This is a "super-include" designed
to include all of the necessary header files for intuition and
graphics. You'll have to deduce which files that means - I haven't
done that yet.
