[net.micro.amiga] amiga documentation/ C compiler package

mackie@watdcsu.UUCP (mackie) (01/14/86)

I've been told that some time ago there was a deal in which a non
developer could get a complete set of amiga manuals and a C compiler
by sending a certain sum of money to Amiga. Could someone either
mail me or post the details of this?

You can get an equivalent developers kit by getting 'C' from lattice,
the assembler and manual set from your dealer. I mention that C should
be purchased from lattice simply because that way you get the latest
version (3.03B as of this writing) and there were some rather annoying
bugs in the earlier versions. Of course if you have an old version Lattice
will update your for a reasonable fee. What this won't get you is
access to the technical BBS, but you have usenet right?
